Indiana has reached into North Carolina in the class of 2021.
Could this be the early work of new assistant coach Mike Roberts, who spent eight years at UNC Greensboro?
Raleigh based point guard Carter Whitt reported an IU offer via Twitter.

The 6-foot-3 Whitt is a top 50 four star recruit according to Rivals.
The Leesville Road High School product is considering reclassifying into the class of 2020 according to multiple reports. That plan would fit well with Indiana’s need for an additional primary ball handler for the 2020-21 season.
247Sports analyst Brian Snow described Whitt this way recently:
Whitt has fantastic floor vision, is a good athlete going to the rim, and has a tremendous feel for the game. While Whitt isn’t a great long-range shooter, he still is able to attack of the bounce, and once he is in the lane he is as good as it gets at getting the ball to an open shooter, dumping it off to a big for a dunk, or creating space for himself.
Playing up on the 17U level for the second year in a row for Team Loaded NC, Whitt averaged 8.2 points, 4.3 assists, 1.3 turnovers and 2.9 rebounds in 26.2 minutes on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit this spring and summer.
Whitt holds more than 20 offers. Ohio State, Florida, NC State, Maryland, Virginia. Clemson, Tennessee and Boston College have been some of his top suitors.
