Indiana has offered class of 2025 wing Amari Allen, he announced on his Twitter page on Monday evening.
IU also offered his AAU teammate Kai Rogers on Monday. The duo play for the Wisconsin Playground on the UAA Circuit.
The 6-foot-7 and 200-pound Allen is from Wisconsin, and he enrolled at IMG Academy in Florida a year ago. As most sophomores do on national teams like IMG, Allen had more of a reserve role in 2022-23. IU has pursued a number of IMG products since Mike Woodson took over, including Tamar Bates and Bryson Tucker. Allen was teammates at IMG with another recent IU offer, Jamier Jones.
Allen averaged 22.7 points as a freshman for Kaukauna H.S. (Kaukauna, Wis.) before the transfer to IMG. In 14 games on the UAA Circuit this spring and summer, Allen averaged 13.8 points per game on 44 percent shooting from the field including 27 percent from three. He made 75 percent from the free throw line. He added 5.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals while committing 3.0 turnovers per contest.
Allen also has high major offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Georgetown, Marquette, Iowa, Arizona State, Minnesota, Florida State, West Virginia, Penn State and Tennessee.
According to the On3 Industry Average, Allen is the No. 99 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 20 small forward.
On film, Allen is a wing who excels at attacking off the bounce and getting to the rim. He has a good looking shot but needs to become more consistent from long range.
