Indiana continues to look to what thus far has been fertile recruiting ground in Georgia.
The latest player from the Peach State to receive an IU offer is class of 2025 forward Caleb Wilson.
Wilson is a 6-foot-7 hybrid forward/wing who attends Holy Innocents High School in Atlanta.
Through his first three high school games Wilson is averaging 17.7 points and 10 rebounds per contest.
HoopSeen’s Josh Tec wrote this about Wilson after watching him in October.
“Size and length are some of his natural gifts. He’s mobile for a bigger guy, so he can play multiple positions. Inside the perimeter, his size and motor make him more than a handful for opponents to deal with. He’s great around the rim on both ends of the floor, and he gobbles up rebounds. Around the perimeter, he’s a disruptive defender, he can be trusted to sink some 3-pointers, and he can create off the dribble.”
For AAU basketball Wilson played with the AE5 Rimrockers over the spring and summer.
Indiana has offered relatively early in his recruitment. Wilson reports that IU is his second Division One offer after Cleveland State.
