Indiana has offered class of 2025 center Kai Rogers, he announced on his Instagram page on Monday evening.
The 6-foot-10 Rogers is a player who has been on the IU radar going back at least to the early part of the spring. He attends Wauwatosa West H.S. (Wauwatosa, Wis.).
For travel basketball Rogers plays for Wisconsin Playground on the UAA Circuit where he averaged 13.3 points on 63 percent shooting, and added 7.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocks. He is a spring and summer AAU teammate of another player the staff offered on Monday, 2025 wing Amari Allen.
Indiana is at least the 14th high major offer for Rogers. Also on that list are Minnesota, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Marquette, Penn State, West Virginia, St. John’s, Georgetown, Florida State, Iowa, Illinois, Ole Miss and Texas.
Rogers only started playing basketball in the seventh grade, so he is improving rapidly.
On film, Rogers is a high motor athlete who plays with defensive intensity. He’s a very good shot blocker and primarily a back to the basket center to this point in his offensive development, but he does show some ability to step out and shoot from the perimeter. Rogers is well built and has been reported to have a 7-foot-1 wingspan.
Rogers is a 4-star according to the On3 Industry Average, the No. 68 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 10 center.
