Indiana has offered class of 2025 wing Jordan Scott.
The 6-foot-6 Scott announced the offer on his Instagram page after IU assistant coach Kenya Hunter visited him today.
“Thank you Coach Hunter for coming out to see me, and thank you Indiana for the official offer,” Scott wrote.
Scott is a 4-star prospect in the 2025 class. According to the On3 Industry Average, he’s the No. 63 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 22 shooting guard.
He played with the Virginia Elite in the UA Association this summer after helping South Lakes H.S. (Reston, Va.) to a 25-4 record and appearance in the Class 6 state semifinals as a sophomore. Scott was named Northern Region Player of the Year and Concorde District Player of the Year as a sophomore this season.
Scott also has offers from Florida State, Iowa, Penn State, Washington, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Maryland and Texas A&M among others.
Scott comes from a basketball family. His mom, Christy (Winters) Scott, played at Maryland, and his dad, Jerome Scott, played at Miami. His sister, Brianna Scott, currently plays at Georgetown.
247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi wrote this assessment of Scott’s game this summer:
“Pushing 6-foot-6 he’s an already sizey wing with a baby face who just appears to be scratching the surface of who he could be,” Bossi wrote. “He has a workable shot, pretty high basketball IQ, and is real versatile. Scott is still growing into his body and seems to have a thirst for learning as much as he can. Long story short, he’s got a lot of things going for him in the long term.”
