With local legend Bruiser Flint on the staff, Indiana dips into the Philadelphia area regularly for potential recruits.
On Thursday IU reached for one of the city’s biggest stars. The latest City of Brotherly Love talent that IU has offered a scholarship is 2022 guard Justice Williams.
Recruiting analyst Pat Lawless was the first to report the offer on his Twitter page.

The 6-foot-3 Williams is a five-star guard according to the 247Sports Composite. He is rated the No. 25 player overall in the 2022 class and the No. 6 shooting guard according to that service. Combo guard might be the best description for Williams.
A Philadelphia Catholic League first team all-conference selection, Williams averaged 19.3 points, six assists, and five rebounds this season for Roman Catholic School in Philadelphia. He helped lead the Cahillites to the PIAA class 6A state quarterfinals before the season was canceled.
Williams has transferred to Montverde Academy in Florida for the remainder of his high school career.
For AAU, Williams plays for Philadelphia based Team Final on the Nike EYBL circuit. He is teammates there with fellow IU recruiting target John Camden.
Williams has a long list of offers that includes Maryland, Alabama, UConn, Florida, Memphis, Michigan, Penn State, Pitt and Villanova.
(Williams is No. 11 in the below highlight reel from his 2020 Philly Catholic League action).
