The wait for class of 2024 5-star forward Liam McNeeley to announce his college destination is almost over.
And now we know when the news will break on Sunday.
According to ESPN’s Paul Biancardi, McNeeley will announce his college decision at halftime of a game that starts at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday. So roughly around 4 p.m. ET.
McNeeley is down to a final two of Indiana and Kansas. IU is the only school he took an official visit to twice, and the Hoosiers are widely viewed as the favorite. If he chooses IU, McNeeley would be their first commit in the 2024 class.
The 6-foot-7 small forward is ranked the No. 14 overall player in the 2024 class according to the On3 Industry Average.
Later in the day, McNeeley and his Florida Eagles squad play at 9 p.m. ET in Las Vegas in the championship game of the GEICO Top Flight Invite. That game will be televised live on ESPN2. Indiana recruiting target Derik Queen also plays on McNeeley’s team.
