Indiana fans won’t have to wait long to find out where class of 2020 top 30 forward Dawson Garcia is going to college.
The top recruit on the board for the Hoosiers, Garcia discussed where things stand with his top schools and his timeline for a decision with Tipton Edits. The Prior Lake, Minnesota product plans to make an announcement by Nov. 20.
Among the notable comments by Garcia were the fact that IU assistant coach Tom Ostrom was in to visit him on Wednesday night, and he referred to the Hoosier fan base as the best fan base recruiting him. Garcia also said that he “felt at home” during his Indiana official visit.
The national analysts from recruiting service sites Rivals and 247Sports seem to generally agree that Garcia’s recruitment is down to Indiana and Marquette, with Minnesota and Memphis still involved. Garcia is taking an official visit to Marquette this weekend.
