Florida Gulf Coast transfer wing Zach Anderson is on the IU campus on Sunday, he reported on his Instagram page.
Anderson finds himself in friendly confines. He scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds while making 5-of-7 from three at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in November.
The 6-foot-7 Anderson was named Third-Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference in March.
Anderson, a native of Apopka, Fla., averaged 12.8 points on the season. He connected on 48.2 percent of his shots including 45.9 percent from three (on 111 attempts).
He scored in double-figures in 13 of 16 games against Atlantic Sun competition, including a career-high 26 points against Queens University of Charlotte in a 90-81 FGCU win Feb. 24.
Anderson added 5.1 rebounds per game on the season and shot 69 percent from the stripe.
He had a 21-point, 10-rebound outing in the Eagles win over then No. 7 ranked Florida Atlantic.
At FGCU, he played in all 18 games as a true freshman and averaged 2.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. As a sophomore, he started in 13 games and posted 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 46 percent from the floor. Anderson entrenched himself into the starting lineup in his junior year when he averaged 11.7 points on 48 percent shooting with a team-high 6.7 rebounds per game.
After playing four years at FGCU, Anderson has one year of eligibility remaining. He visited Florida State in March.
Indiana currently has three open scholarships on their 2024-25 roster.
