As Indiana shows interest in transfer portal prospects we’ll provide a quick profile with our transfer portal names to know series.
Of course we’ll cover prospects more if things progress beyond initial interest.
Next up is Kentucky 7-footer Aaron Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is from New Jersey and was an AAU teammate of Indiana forward Mackenzie Mgbako.
The McDonald’s All-American recovered from an offseason foot injury and made his debut for UK on Dec. 2. That delay seemed to impact his ability to find a rhythm and make a major impact as a freshman. He flashed his potential Bradshaw at Florida when he scored 10 points, all coming in the final 9:05 of the game, while adding seven rebounds, two steals and a block in the 87-85 victory. That effort earned Bradshaw SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
The 7-foot-1 and 226-pound Bradshaw played in 26 games and made 10 starts during his freshman season. He averaged 4.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game, tallied seven double-figure scoring efforts and had one double-double. Bradshaw paced the team in rebounding five times, steals three times and blocks three times.
Bradshaw’s shooting splits were 57.6% overall, 28.6% from three on 14 attempts, and 56.8% from the stripe.
The Rahway, N.J. product was a 5-star recruit who ranked as high as No. 2 overall by Rivals and 247Sports.
He should have three years of eligibility remaining. His freshman season highlights are below.
