Watch a great in-depth one-on-one interview with one of the legends of IU basketball, Calbert Cheaney.
Cheaney’s 2,613 career points from 1989-93 still stand as the most in IU and Big Ten history. He earned Big Ten and National Player of the Year honors as a senior in 1993. He was selected No. 6 overall in the 1993 NBA Draft and went on to play 13 professional seasons.
The video is shared with the permission of Marcus Wilson. The Bloomington, Ind. native scored more than 2,000 points as a shooting guard at the University of Evansville, and he was the 1999 Missouri Valley Conference player of the year.
