The IU football program has made a late addition to the 2024 roster at linebacker.
Lakeland, Fla. based Rolijah Hardy announced his commitment to Indiana on his X account.
Part of the class of 2023, Hardy signed with Navy out of high school. He spent his first collegiate season as part of the Naval Academy Preparatory School.
As a senior at Lakeland H.S. in 2022, Hardy led his team with 101 total tackles, including 69 solo tackles. He had 11.5 tackles for loss, and added two sacks, five quarterback pressures, four pass breakups and one fumble recovery.
He was the Lakeland Ledger’s 2022 big school defensive player of the year.
In addition to Navy, Hardy’s offers out of high school included Arkansas State, Eastern Kentucky, Georgetown, Incarnate Word, Middle Tennessee State, Rhode Island, South Dakota, South Florida, Tulane and Western Michigan.
Hardy was rated as a 2-star prospect by Rivals.
