Indiana football has gained a commitment for the class of 2024 for the third day in a row.
This time, it’s long snapper Alan Soukup out of Phoenix who’s joining the Hoosiers. Soukup announced his news Wednesday on Twitter.

Soukup is ranked as the No. 1 long snapper in his class by Kohl’s Kicking. 247Sports Composite doesn’t have long snappers in its recruiting ratings. He had another offer from future Big Ten foe USC.
Soukup checks in at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds. He’ll be counted on to replace long-time starter Sean Wracher next year, who will play his fifth and final season at IU in 2023.
This is Indiana’s 13th commit in the class of 2024 and the first specialist of those players.
