Kosin took an official visit to IU back in December, and then came back for Spring Football Saturday two weeks ago. He told 247Sports national analyst Allen Trieu what he liked about IU.
“Coach Allen and Coach Wright were very open with me about me being their guy that they wanted and I liked that they showed it as well,” Kosin told Trieu. “They were very good about building the relationship that we have. They made me feel at home.”
The 6-foot-6 and 225 pound Kosin caught 17 passes for 250 yards and five touchdowns as a junior in 2022. He also plays on the Clarkston basketball team.
According to the On3 Industry average, Kosin is a 3-star recruit, the No. 953 player overall in the 2024 class, and the No. 44 tight end.
Kosin chose IU over Kentucky, Duke, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Miami (OH), West Virginia, and Tulsa.
