Class of 2025 edge rusher Keishaun Calhoun announced a verbal commitment to Indiana on Thursday evening.
Calhoun had previously indicated he would announce a commitment on July 1. But he was at IU for a visit this week and posted the news on his X account.

The visit was the second this year for the from Groveport Madison H.S. (Groveport, Ohio) product.
247Sports currently ranks Calhoun as a three-star prospect and the No. 104 defensive lineman in the Class of 2025. At 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Calhoun could play multiple roles along the defensive line.
Calhoun also had offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, Miami (OH), Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan, and Eastern Kentucky. He also recently visited Illinois, Michigan and Michigan State.
With the addition of Calhoun, Indiana now has two defensive line commits in their 2025 class. He joins Tennessee product Jhrevious Hall.
In total IU now has 13 commits in their rising senior high school class. Before the commitment, the class ranks 57th overall and No. 17 in the Big Ten according to On3.
