Class of 2024 Edge Daniel Ndukwe announced on Instagram Monday afternoon he’s committed to IU. The announcement comes following a weekend visit to Indiana.
The 6-foot-3 and 225 pound Ndukwe is a 3-star and the the No. 113 edge rusher nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
Ndukwe recorded 35 tackles including 6.5 for a loss as a senior. He added a sack, an interception and a fumble recovery. He played both ways and caught 10 passes for 277 yards and scored four touchdowns on offense.
The Lithonia, Ga. (Arabia Mountain H.S.) product also had offers from Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Army, Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Bryant, Buffalo, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Dartmouth, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Kent State, Liberty, Memphis, Miami (Ohio), Middle Tennessee State, Navy, Penn, Southeast Missouri State, The Citadel, Toledo, Tulane, UCF, Western Kentucky and Yale.
Earlier on Monday, prior JMU commits quarterback Alberto Mendoza and defensive lineman Mario Landino announced they were committed to IU.
