Less than a week before the early national signing period, Indiana’s 2024 class continues to turn over under new head coach Curt Cignetti.
On Friday afternoon, senior defensive end William Depaepe announced his commitment to IU on his social media accounts.
The Moline, Ill. product visited Indiana this week.
The 6-foot-7 and 225 pound Depaepe finished his senior season at Moline Sr. H.S. with 39 tackles (14 for a loss), four sacks, and two forced fumbles.
According to the On3 Industry Average, Depaepe is a 3-star and the No. 85 edge rusher in the 2024 class. He originally committed to Georgia Tech in May. His only other reported offer was from Ball State.
Depaepe is Cignetti’s fourth high school recruit since arriving at IU, and the first who was not a former James Madison commit. Overall IU has 16 high school commits in its 2024 class.
