Curt Cignetti and the IU football staff made another addition to their 2024 recruiting class on Sunday.
Defensive back Dontrae Henderson announced he has committed to Indiana. He was previously committed to Cignetti at James Madison.
The 6-foot and 170 pound Henderson hails from Charlotte, N.C. (Chambers H.S.). He played both cornerback and safety in high school.
According to the On3 Industry Average, Henderson is a 3-star and the No. 229 cornerback.
As a junior he recorded 53 tackles, four interceptions, 14 PBUs, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
Henderson had offers from James Madison, Marshall, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, UConn, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Elon, Georgia State, Howard, Miami (OH), Old Dominion, Rhode Island, William and Mary, and Yale.
