After a lull in IU football recruiting commitments, the Hoosiers have picked up another tight end in the class of 2020.
Cleveland, Ohio product Sam Daugstrup announced his commitment to IU via his Twitter account on Thursday.

The 6-foot-5 and 245 pound Daugstrup is a three star rated recruit according to the 247Sports Composite.
He is ranked as the No. 43 tight end in the country in the class of 2020 according to that same service.
The St. Ignatius High School product missed all of his junior season with a knee injury. St. Ignatius is one of the top high school football program in the state of Ohio.
Daugstrup had more than a dozen other offers including Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, Louisville, and others. According to a report by Bill Greene of 247Sports, Daugstrup also had recent interest from Ohio State and Michigan State.
