By now you know all about new class of 2021 IU quarterback commit Donaven McCulley.
On the other of end of many of McCulley’s big throws in 2019 was another power five talent on the Lawrence North High School football roster.
Only a sophomore, wide receiver Omar Cooper, Jr. caught 53 passes for 1,024 yards and 13 touchdowns for his 2019 season.
Cooper has been to Bloomington and he has an ongoing dialogue with the coaching staff. Along with Indiana, Cooper has early scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Purdue among others.
Although he is listed as 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds by the recruiting sites, Cooper appears much bigger on film and combines a physical style with speed.
Cooper is the No. 41 ranked wide receiver in the country according to 247sports.
