Dunlap made the announcement coming off of a weekend official visit to IU.
The 6-foot-1 and 190-pound Dunlap attends Enterprise H.S., a Class 7A program in Enterprise, Ala. He also plays basketball at the school.
Dunlap is a 3-star prospect according to Rivals and 247Sports. He’s not ranked by On3 and ESPN. 247Sports says he’s the No. 55 safety in the 2024 class.
The Hoosiers offered Dunlap in March. He chose IU over more than 10 D-1 offers, including from Power Five programs such as Auburn, Ole Miss, Maryland, Penn State, Mississippi State, and Florida.
Dunlap is Indiana’s ninth overall commit in the 2024 class, and the second defensive back of the day, joining Judah Jenkins from Maryland.
