Hailing from Alcoa, Tenn. (Alcoa H.S.), Jeffries is a 3-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 736 overall player in the 2023 class and the No. 64 offensive tackle. He could end up playing guard for Indiana.
Jeffries also had offers from Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, Oregon, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Toledo, Tulane, and Austin Peay. His decision came on the heels of an official visit to the IU campus just over a week ago.
Jeffries joins Illinois product Austin Barrett and Florida product William Larkins as offensive line commits for IU in the 2023 class.
IU now has eight total commits in the rising senior high school class. For a summary of Indiana’s 2023 class so far, GO HERE.
