Center Grove High School in the south Indianapolis suburbs has delivered a pipeline of talent to Bloomington through the years, and this year’s football team certainly boasts a wealth of Division One players.
Quarterback Tayven Jackson and defensive lineman Caden Curry are two Trojan prospects that Indiana is recruiting in the class of 2022.
Jackson was 6-of-9 for 146 yards and two touchdowns in Center Grove’s dominant 56-14 season opening win over Decatur Central.
In addition to an offer from IU in April, Jackson has more recently received offers from Michigan State, Arizona State and Cincinnati.
Jackson is currently ranked No. 526 nationally in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite.
Curry is one of the top prospects in the country in the class of 2022, with an offer list that along with IU includes Clemson, Alabama, Texas, and Ohio State.
The 6-foot-5 and 250 pound Curry had 4 tackles including 3 for a loss and two sacks to go with a blocked punt that he returned for a touchdown.
Curry is currently ranked No. 86 nationally in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite.
