Class of 2021 offensive line commit Vinny Fiacable is off to a nice start to his senior season.
Fiacable’s Fort Wayne Dwenger squad is 3-1 so far, with wins over Fort Wayne Wayne, North and South, and a heartbreaking 35-34 3 OT loss at Homestead.
Playing on both sides of the ball, Fiacable had an interception and sack over the weekend.
The 6-foot-4 and 300 pound Fiacable is a three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite. Fiacable committed to IU in April.
IU runs in the family. His brother Mike Fiacable was a quarterback for IU from 2015-18, and brother Steve was an offensive lineman from 2009-10. Their father Steve Fiacable played for Bill Mallory in the late ’80s, early ’90s. A third brother, Nick, was also a student assistant with the program.
