The IU Football program unveiled a major facilities upgrade on Tuesday night.
Encompassing 25,000 square fee beneath the west stands at Memorial Stadium, the new Terry Tallen Football Complex includes the Trent and Julie Green Locker Room, Dr. John Miller Training Room, team lounge, and much more.
The new complex was announced in 2018 and made possible by a $2 million gift by former IU football captain Terry Tallen.
Tallen graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 1982 and while earning his degree was also a three-year IU Football letterman. He was elected team co-captain in 1979 and 1980.
The 1979 team was nationally ranked and won the Holiday Bowl, IU’s first bowl victory. Terry was named the United Press International’s Defensive Player of the Week following Indiana’s Homecoming victory over Wisconsin in 1980.
