Indiana head football coach Tom Allen gave his final public comments regarding this weekend’s game at Nebraska on Thursday. The third year leader of the IU program said this regarding the status of starting quarterback Michael Penix:
“He’s been able to practice, so we’ll see, game-time decision. We’ll know at kickoff.”
Allen added that Penix has been able to participate in “most” of this week’s practice activities. If the past is any indication, Penix appears likely to play this weekend. During his prior injury situation earlier in the season, Penix played during the first week (Michigan State) that he practiced.
Indiana and Nebraska kick off at 3:30 Eastern from Lincoln. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
