Indiana made another statement move on Wednesday when head coach Mike Woodson and all three assistants went to Kokomo H.S. (Kokomo, Ind.) to visit class of 2024 5-star center Flory Bidunga.
National Rivals analyst Travis Graf reported the news. The 6-foot-10 Bidunga was recently rated a 5-star and placed in the national top-10 in his class by each of 247Sports, On3 and Rivals. Indiana offered Bidunga a scholarship in late July.
Bidunga has recently taken visits to Purdue and Butler, and he was offered this week by Kansas as his recruitment continues to expand despite some noise surrounding possible heavy interest in Cincinnati.
While he attends school just a few hours away from the IU campus, Bidunga came to the United States from the Democratic Republic of Congo just over a year ago. Since then he has quickly emerged from unknown to one of the most coveted prospects in the country.
Indiana’s staff has been very active since the beginning of the recruiting period. You can read about some of their activities in week one HERE and week two HERE.
