The Big Ten Conference announced the 18-game women’s basketball league schedule on Thursday, putting the final touches on the 2024-25 slate.
The Hoosiers will start off the conference journey by traveling to Penn State on Dec. 7 in their only league game before the holiday break. Returning to action on Dec. 28, IU will host Wisconsin before changing the calendar over to 2025 in the first game of the New Year against UCLA at home (Jan. 4).
IU will hit the road at Northwestern (Jan. 8) and at Iowa (Jan. 12) before coming back to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall to host Illinois (Jan. 16) and USC (Jan. 19). They will make their first trip out west to face new league opponents Oregon (Jan. 24) and Washington (Jan. 27).
Nebraska (Feb. 2) and Rutgers (Feb. 6) come to town to open the month of February. Two more road games follow at Minnesota (Feb. 9) and Michigan (Feb. 12). Indiana host three of the last five games on the Big Ten schedule when they welcome Purdue (Feb. 15) and Ohio State (Feb. 20). IU goes on the road to East Lansing to face Michigan State (Feb. 23) before holding Senior Day against Maryland (Feb. 27).
The regular season finale is set for March 2 at Purdue before taking part in the Big Ten Tournament March 5-9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Head coach Teri Moren returns nine players from last year’s team including three starters — point guard Chloe Moore-McNeil, and wings Sydney Parrish and Yarden Garzon. IU also welcomes two transfers and two true freshmen to the 2024-25 squad.
IU Women’s Basketball is coming off a record-setting season for attendance in 2023-24.
Moren’s team averaged 10,336 fans during its 17 home games, and in doing so became just the fifth Big Ten Women’s Basketball team to average 10,000-plus during a single season. IU went a perfect 17-0 at home last season while eclipsing the 20-win barrier for the ninth straight year and earning a trip to its third Sweet 16 in the last four years.
Both Reserved and GA season tickets for the 2024-25 IU Women’s Basketball season remain on sale, the school says in a release. A limited number of reserved season tickets are still available while GA season tickets will remain on sale until the start of the season. Adult reserved season tickets are $112, while reserved senior season tickets (65+) and youth season tickets (18-and-under) are $48. IU faculty and staff can purchase reserved season tickets for $80. Adult general admission season tickets are $96, while general admission youth and senior tickets are $48.
