Indiana women’s basketball sophomore forward Mona Zaric has entered the transfer portal, a program spokesperson confirmed to The Daily Hoosier. WBBblog.com was first to report.
Zaric, a Serbia native, saw limited action in her two seasons in Bloomington. She played in 14 games this season, after appearing in 10 as a freshman. She averaged 3.5 minutes per game in her IU career.
Zaric scored 14 total points this season, with seven of them coming against Morehead State in December.
This opens a third scholarship slot for the Hoosiers in 2023-24.
This is the updated #iuwbb scholarship chart now that Mona Zaric has entered the transfer portal. Hoosiers have three open scholarships for the coming season — and, currently, no juniors. pic.twitter.com/S82Xt9HpLy
