For the sixth straight year, Indiana women’s basketball is ranked in the preseason AP Poll.
The Hoosiers check in at No. 25 in the 2024-25 preseason top 25. Teri Moren’s program has been a mainstay in the rankings, staying in the top 25 in every poll since the 2019-20 preseason.
IU was picked to finish fifth in the Big Ten preseason poll. Five other Big Ten programs are ranked ahead of the Hoosiers in the AP Poll: No. 3 USC, No. 5 UCLA, No. 14 Ohio State, No. 18 Maryland, and No. 23 Nebraska. IU is coming off a third-place finish in the conference last season, along with a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament that led to a Sweet 16 appearance.
Indiana opens the regular season on November 4 against Brown.
