IU basketball fans based in the Hoosier State will have an opportunity soon to see class of 2024 signee Liam McNeeley live.
The tournament formerly known as GEICO Nationals is now the Chipotle Nationals and will be held in Brownsburg, Ind. in early April.
The event features the best high school teams in the country, and of course, some of the most talented players such as McNeeley.
This year’s tournament will be played April 4-6 at Brownsburg H. S. and will be televised by ESPN. The brackets for the boys and girls are expected to be revealed by ESPN in mid-March.
McNeeley’s Montverde Academy (28-0) has been the No. 1 ranked boys team in the country since the preseason.
In addition to Montverde, other IU prospects could end up playing, including 2025s Jalen Haralson and Darius Adams of La Lumiere, 2025 Kiyan Anthony of Long Island Lutheran, and 2025 Darius Acuff of IMG Academy.
McNeeley, who is showing up on some 2025 NBA Draft first-round projections, will also play in the Jordan Brand Classic, it was announced on Wednesday.
That game is set to be played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 21.
McNeeley is the 15th IU recruit selected for recognition in the event which began in 2002.
