Listen as IU basketball great Isiah Thomas joined Query & Company on The Fan in Indianapolis on Friday.
Thomas went in depth with his views on how his good friend Mike Woodson is doing as the head coach at Indiana.
Woodson and Thomas were teammates on the 1980 Big Ten championship team.
At IU, Thomas started every game he played. He was a member and leader of two Indiana teams that won Big Ten Championships. During his second and final season at IU in 1980-81, Thomas led the Hoosiers in scoring and set a single-season school record for assists with 197.
In the 1981 national championship game, Thomas led all scorers with 23 points and was honored as the Outstanding Player. He went on to an NBA Hall-of-Fame and championship career with the Detroit Pistons.
