Local businesses to host benefit for IU Football Manager, Matt Stauder
100% of proceeds will go to Matt’s medical expenses
BLOOMINGTON, IN – Three local businesses along with other members of the football program will be hosting a benefit for IUFB manager, Matt Stauder, on Thursday, September 20th. There will be food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family with former IU baseball player and rising country music star, Reece Phillips, preforming. 100% of the proceeds will to go to Matt’s medical expenses.
Matt, a senior studying sports management and marketing, is the dedicated and much-loved student manager of the Indiana Hoosiers football team. Just over a year ago, Matt unexpectedly lost his father to a heart attack. Then, in April of this year, Matt was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Despite the heartbreaks and setbacks, Matt continues to show up and fight and has remained an integral part of the Hoosier team.

When: Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 6:00-9:00p.m.
Where: Parking lot of Smith’s Shoe Center and Wagon Wheel Custom Meats (1915 S. Walnut Street, Bloomington, IN 47401)
