Trayce Jackson-Davis has said on repeat for the last six weeks — he is forgoing his final year of eligibility and heading to the NBA Draft.
For those who were still clinging to the idea he might have a change of heart, Jackson-Davis crushed those dreams on Tuesday afternoon with an announcement on his social media pages.
“All my life it has been a dream of mine to play in the NBA. With that being said, I will forgo my extra year of eligibility and go all in for the 2023 NBA Draft,” Jackson-Davis said.

Also on Tuesday afternoon, former IU center Logan Duncomb announced he is transferring to Xavier.
Duncomb originally committed to IU to play for Archie Miller. That never happened, but now Duncomb will play for his brother Sean in his hometown of Cincinnati.
Although they were never teammates at IU, Duncomb will join former IU forward Jerome Hunter at Xavier next season.
“I’m coming home, excited for the next chapter,” Duncomb wrote in his social media posts.
