Logan Duncomb, center from Cincinnati’s Archbishop Moeller High School and Indiana’s lone signee for the Class of 2021, was one of 70 players from the Midwest region named Thursday as nominees for the McDonald’s All-American game.
According to the school’s (extremely professional) website, Duncomb is averaging 13.3 points and 8.7 rebounds and shooting 57.9 percent from the field this season. He also has 45 assists, 17 steals and 20 blocks in 19 games.
The 6-foot-9, 235-pound Duncomb is a four-star recruit and the No. 74 player in the class according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings.
One of the top teams in the state of Ohio, Moeller is 15-4 on the season. The Crusaders are set to begin the Ohio state basketball playoffs this weekend.
Six high school players from the state of Indiana were nominated: Vincent Brady, Cathedral, Caleb Furst, Fort Wayne Blackhawk, Luke Goode, Homestead, Trey Kaufman, Silver Creek, J.R. Konieczny, South Bend St. Joseph, and Chris Mantis, Lowell.
On the women’s side, IU basketball 2021 signee Kaitlin Peterson was nominated. The 5-foot-9 Peterson came into her senior season as a three-time all-state selection and rated as the No. 41 overall recruit by All Star Girls Report.
