Part of learning basketball at Indiana is learning how to recruit.
Second through ninth grade students are at the Mike Woodson Basketball Camp this week in Bloomington, and they started serenading class of 2024 wing Tyler Betsey on Wednesday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
“We want Tyler,” the campers chanted, encouraged by Woodson, who said “I can’t hear you” as they did their part to pitch in on Betsey’s recruitment. “They know their basketball here in the state of Indiana,” Woodson said approvingly of the kids.
Betsey is on campus as part of an official visit.
