We now have the complete picture for the 2022-23 IU basketball season.
On Thursday the Big Ten Network revealed portions of the conference schedule live on the air at Noon Eastern. During the broadcast, former Purdue star and BTN personality Robbie Hummel named the Hoosiers as his preseason favorite.
“When you’re talking about the best teams in the Big Ten this year, you have to start with the Indiana Hoosiers,” Hummel said.
IU Athletics then released the full schedule at the conclusion of the BTN segment.
The non-conference schedule was published earlier in the summer and features matchups at Xavier, vs. North Carolina, vs. Arizona (at Las Vegas), and at Kansas. IU also plays a game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against Miami of Ohio.
The Hoosiers will open the Big Ten portion of its schedule on Dec. 3 at Rutgers, and its Big Ten home opener will come on Dec. 7 vs. Nebraska.
IU finishes the Big Ten slate with four of seven on the road, but their final two league contests will be held at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The 2023 Big Ten Tournament returns to the United Center in Chicago.
