As they’ve done consistently in recent years, IU basketball coach Mike Woodson and his assistant coaches are prioritizing the opportunity to watch some of the nation’s best high school talent at the NBPA top-100 Camp in Orlando, Fla. this week.
Elite players from the classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027 are represented at this invite-only event located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports on the campus of Walt Disney World.
Woodson and all three of his assistant coaches — Kenya Hunter, Yasir Rosemond and Brian Walsh — are in attendance.
Some of the main IU targets playing at the event include:
- Darius Adams (2025)
- Kiyan Anthony (2025)
- Chris Cenac (2025)
- Sam Funches (2026)
- Hudson Greer (2025)
- Jalen Montonati (2026)
- Malachi Moreno (2025)
- Meleek Thomas (2025)
- Bryson Tiller (2025)
Since its inception in 1994, over 300 players who attended the camp have gone on to careers in the NBA. Each year the camp draws scouts from throughout the league. And the event is held during a live recruiting evaluation period, and that means college coaches can be on hand too.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the first of multiple upcoming summer live periods. Additional live periods when the IU staff is almost certain to be on the road include two weekends in June focused primarily on events where players participate with their high school teams, and then the final shoe-circuit events in July.
Here are the remaining live period dates on the summer calendar.
- June 21-23
- June 28-30
- July 11-14
- July 19-21
- July 23-25
Indiana will also host a team camp for high school programs in Bloomington next weekend.
