Two more Hoosiers have signed NFL undrafted free agent deals on Saturday.
Tight end Peyton Hendershot will join Ty Fryfogle in Dallas, and safety Raheem Layne has signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. Both deals were announced by the IU football program.
Hendershot finished his career as the Hoosiers tight ends receptions (136) and yardage (1,479) leader. The three-time All-Big Ten selection finished second with 14 touchdowns.
Layne played in 50 career games with 38 (13 starts) at cornerback and 12 (12 starts) at safety. He totaled 147 tackles, 114 solo, 3.5 for loss, one interception, seven pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Earlier in the day, linebacker Micah McFadden was drafted in the fifth round by the New York Giants, while Fryfogle signed with the Cowboys and Caleb Jones signed with the Green Bay Packers.
