Indiana’s home game against Michigan State on Saturday will be one of two meetings with the Spartans in less than two weeks.
The Big Ten Conference has rescheduled IU’s road game in East Lansing that was originally scheduled to be played on January 17. The Hoosiers will now travel to the Breslin Center on Tuesday, March 2 for an 8 p.m. ET tip against MSU. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
Indiana has won three in a row against Michigan State, including their last trip to East Lansing on Feb. 2, 2019.
As it stands, Indiana will play 19 Big Ten Conference games. One additional game that might be rescheduled is a road trip to Ann Arbor to face Michigan. The Wolverines are currently working to reschedule several games after an extended pause due to COVID-19. With Indiana already in the area to face Michigan State, the league could try to fit in a game at Michigan during the same week, although the Wolverines have another game on March 4.
However things turn out, IU is going to have a busy and challenging final week of the season. Indiana already hosts Michigan on February 27 and travels to Purdue on Saturday, March 6.
