Bloomington native Connor Hickman decided against playing his final season of college basketball at Indiana.
The day after a visit to Bloomington, Hickman announced he is transferring to Cincinnati.
A guard from Bradley, Hickman was thought to be down to IU and Cincinnati. He visited Cincinnati on Monday.
Indiana got a commitment on Saturday from Washington State transfer guard Myles Rice. Their main guard targets at this point appear to be Kanaan Carlyle of Stanford and Ryan Conwell of Indiana State. This development might increase IU’s focus on Leland Walker of Eastern Kentucky, and Connor Essegian of Wisconsin.
Earlier on Monday, Iowa transfer guard Tony Perkins committed to Missouri.
IU currently has five roster openings for 2024-25.
