Bridges’ final five are Alabama, Indiana, Miami, West Virginia and Xavier. According to a report by Rivals, his visit to Indiana will be the last of his official visits to his finalists.
The 6-foot-8 Bridges is currently ranked No. 75 according to the 247Sports Composite.
With a visit from wing Jordan Geronimo scheduled on August 30th, and a decision by forward Matt Cross expected prior to October, Bridges’ plans to visit Indiana could change depending on what happens in the interim.
Bridges is technically part of the class of 2019, but he is going to attend Scotland Campus prep school in Pennsylvania for the 2019-20 season, and he is being recruiting for the class of 2020.
Playing on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit for Wildcats Select this spring, Bridges averaged 16.5 points on 47.6% shooting overall and 27.4% from long range. Bridges has added 2.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, .9 turnovers and .9 block per game.
During the 2018-19 season, Bridges averaged 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.9 steals per game at Fairmont Senior High School. He led Fairmont to four straight appearances in the state championship game. As a senior, he was West Virginia’s state player of the year.
Based on a report by 247Sports, Bridges added 20 pounds over the last year, and with that has become an imposing presence on both ends of the floor. That same service described him as “an impressive physical make up at 6-foot-6 and long arms. He’s solid athletically, shoots it well off the catch from long-range and can guard his position.”
Bridges is an AAU teammate of 7-footer Zach Loveday, another IU class of 2020 recruiting target.
Bridges appears to be on track for a November early signing period commitment.
