Things are moving fast as Indiana continues to develop its roster for 2024 and beyond.
Here are some notable developments from the last week from both the high school and transfer portal ranks.
AN INDIANA ELITE THREESOME VISIT?
The Indiana Elite 17u team might be the best on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this year.
They’ve started the spring 13-0, including 9-0 in Adidas games.
Three of IU’s main priority targets in the 2025 class play for that Indiana Elite squad — center Malachi Moreno, forward Trent Sisley, and shooting guard Braylon Mullins. All three are off to hot starts this spring.
Sisley has been highly efficient in eight Adidas games this spring, shooting 58.3% overall and 42.9% from three. A source tells The Daily Hoosier that Sisley is aiming to play small forward at the next level. He’s averaging 13.8 points and 5.2 rebounds in the Adidas games.
Mullins told The Daily Hoosier last week the Indiana Elite trio have had conversations about their recruitments and have discussed taking their official visits to Indiana at the same time in the coming months.
“It’s occasional, we’ll all talk about it (their recruitments) and see what each other likes,” Mullins told The Daily Hoosier. “We’re trying to get an IU official visit (all three) together. That’s like a work in progress right now.”
MULLINS DISCUSSES HIS DEVELOPMENT AND RECRUITING
Mullins is one of the top risers in the 2025 class this spring.
In nine Adidas 3SSB games this spring, the Greenfield, Ind. product is shooting 51% from three on more than seven attempts per game. Overall he is averaging 20 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.3 apg, and also shooting 58% from two.
He caught up with Pro Insight over the weekend:

MORENO SAYS IU PROMISING STARTING ROLE
The 7-foot Moreno has been a force this spring as well, averaging 14.3 points, 8.8 rpg, 2.3 blocks while shooting 64.8% from the field in the nine Adidas games.
The Kentucky-based big man told 247Sports national reporter Travis Branham that IU’s message is come in and start on day one.
“Coach (Brian) Walsh came to my house this past week and he said that I would be able to come in and start as a freshman, make an immediate impact and keep their streak going of bigs in the NBA,” Moreno told Branham.
Moreno shared similar thoughts about Indiana in a report by the Kentucky Rivals site.
“The last three bigs they have had they have put into the NBA,” he said. “So they want me to come in and make an immediate impact, and just keep the streak going.”
Moreno has already taken multiple visits to Indiana, including for a game during this past season. He said in multiple reports from the weekend he plans to decide on a college by his birthday, October 24. Expect Kentucky to be a main contender along with IU.
2026 MANNY GREEN INTRO
One of Indiana’s more recent offers was to class of 2026 wing Manny Green.
The 6-foot-6 Georgia product is a national top-60 4-star prospect.
He talked about his development, recruitment and more with Pro Insight here, and mentions Indiana:

CLEMSON TRANSFER HEMENWAY TO VANDERBILT
Indiana was working to get Clemson transfer guard Alex Hemenway on campus for a visit next week, but the Indiana native announced a commitment to Vanderbilt on Tuesday afternoon.
THIERO TO ARKANSAS
As a housekeeping note, Kentucky transfer wing Adou Thiero announced on Monday he has committed to Arkansas. Thiero included IU in his final five schools, but the Hoosiers never appeared to gain serious traction.
Indiana continues to have two open spots on their 2024-25 roster as of Tuesday afternoon.
