This past weekend was the one and only live recruiting period during the spring.
Here are a few notes and quotes from national reports from the weekend:

Class of 2025 4-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins first suggested the idea of taking his official visit to Indiana with his AAU teammates Trent Sisley and Malachi Moreno in an interview with The Daily Hoosier a few weeks ago.
That concept seems to be gathering some momentum and clarity.
Mullins spoke with 247Sports national reporter Brandon Jenkins over the weekend about it.
“We (him, Sisley, Moreno) all do different things for our team,” Mullins told Jenkins. “I want to set it (the IU visit) for early fall during the football games. That is what it is looking like right now.”
After a very strong spring, Mullins’ recruitment is expanding, with schools like UConn entering the mix.

The Indiana Elite Adidas 3SSB team featuring those three IU priority class of 2025 recruiting targets completed a perfect 13-0 run through the circuit, and they were 19-0 overall this spring.
As a team in 13 Adidas games against elite competition, Indiana Elite shot 43% from three on more than 21 attempts per game.
Here are some notable individual numbers:
- Braylon Mullins – 19.6 ppg, 3 apg, 51.1 FG%, 44 3FG%
- Trent Sisley – 13.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 56 FG%, 44 3FG%
- Malachi Moreno – 13.7 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 2.4 bpg, 64.4 FG%

The IU staff watched 2025 wing Kiyan Anthony all weekend in Westfield. He told the media he still plans to visit Bloomington in the months ahead.
The son of Carmelo Anthony talked about his background with IU coach Mike Woodson.
“He [Mike Woodson] is like my Godfather,” Anthony said in a report by ZagsBlog. “He trained me a lot when I was younger and showed me the path to make it to the highest level. Now that he’s coaching at Indiana and I have the opportunity to play with him, that’s a blessing.”
Syracuse does seem like the team to beat here, however. That’s where Carmelo played, and the Orange had a heavy presence at his games. On3 insider Joe Tipton even placed a prediction for Syracuse, albeit one he calls “low confidence.”

Woodson had the private jet on standby all weekend.
Over 24-hour period he made stops at all three major shoe-circuit events — Adidas in Texas, Nike in Indiana, and Under Armour in Ohio. At that latter event he watched 2025 5-star power forward Bryson Tiller and 2025 4-star wing Jordan Scott, among others.

2025 top-20 guard Mikel Brown continues to look like one of Indiana’s main point guard targets in the 2025 class. Here are some of Brown’s spring highlights:
Brown talked to 247Sports’ Brandon Jenkins about the Hoosiers, and said he plans to visit IU in the late summer or fall:
“Their (Indiana) coaching staff has been on me since the ninth grade. They offered me then and have stayed consistent throughout the way,” Brown told Jenkins. “Mike Woodson contacted me yesterday after my game and talked to me about how I played and about setting up a visit soon after the grassroots season. Their coaching staff is great and they are in a great conference. They had Jalen Hood-Schifino who is in the league now and Coach Woodson says I will contribute right away once I get to campus. Overall, that is a great situation.”
Alabama, Ole Miss, Providence, Texas and and South Carolina are some of the other schools Brown is talking to right now.
