Indiana will be on the road during Thanksgiving week for a second straight year in 2024.
According to a report by Jon Rothstein for College Hoops today, the field is set for the 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis.
“Arizona, Gonzaga, Indiana, Louisville, West Virginia, Creighton, Oklahoma, and Davidson will headline the 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis,” Rothstein wrote.
Indiana should get three games against teams in the field. The bracket has not been released.
The Battle 4 Atlantis is played at The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. It is one of the many popular non-conference college basketball tournaments that takes place during each season. The prestigious tournament is in its 12th year this season and generally coincides with the week of Thanksgiving.
It will be a return trip to The Atlantis for IU.
The Hoosiers took a foreign trip to the Bahamas in the summer of 2021 to kick off the Mike Woodson era.
This year the Hoosiers play during Thanksgiving week in New York in connection with the Empire Classic.
Next season will be IU’s first appearance in the Battle 4 Atlantis, and first regular season action in the island nation.
More details including ticket information and travel packages will be released later.
