Indiana wide receiver Whop Philyor has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to a Twitter report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. A text message to Philyor’s agent from the Daily Hoosier seeking confirmation was not immediately returned.
Philyor led the Big Ten with 54 receptions in 2020 and was ninth in receiving yards with 495. In 2019, he caught 70 passes for 1002 yards and five touchdowns, earning second-team All-Big Ten honors from the conference’s coaches and third-team honors from its media.
UPDATE: Indiana confirmed Philyor’s signing with a Twitter post.
