It will be a summer of opportunities for six former Hoosiers as the annual NBA Summer League action commences in July. For some, the summer league will provide additional conditioning and competition as they prepare for the NBA season. For others, they will be competing with the ultimate goal of landing on an NBA roster this fall:
OG Anunoby – Toronto
Anunoby was a 2017 first round draft pick of Toronto and started for the Raptors for much of the season. He saw extensive action in the NBA Playoffs, including the opportunity to guard LeBron James for much of their Eastern Conference Finals series. You can read our season recap here.
James Blackmon, Jr. – Milwaukee
Blackmon went undrafted in 2017 and spent the majority of the season with the Delaware 87ers, the G-League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Thomas Bryant – Los Angeles
Bryant was a 2nd round selection in the 2017 NBA Draft. He bounced back and forth between the Lakers and their G-League affiliate for much of the season. You can read our season recap here.
Robert Johnson – Atlanta
Johnson graduate from Indiana in May. His name can be found on several of the program’s all-time statistical lists.
Christian Watford – Memphis
Watford went undrafted in 2013 and has played for multipe NBA G-League teams since then. He most recently played with the Raptors 905.
Troy Williams – New York
Williams was picked up by the Knicks during the 2017-18 season and thrived before suffering a season ending injury. You can read our season recap here.

Utah Jazz Summer League: Atlanta, Memphis, San Antonio and Utah. From July 2 to July 5.
California Classic: Golden State, LA Lakers, Miami and Sacramento. From July 2 to July 5.
Vegas Summer League: All 30 NBA teams. From July 6 to July 17.
