Bray Lynch, a three-star offensive tackle from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas announced on his Twitter account on Friday evening that he has committed to Indiana for the Class of 2022.
Lynch is the No. 952 player in the class according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings, the No. 95 offensive tackle and the No. 132 player in the state of Texas. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder helped lead Austin Westlake to a Class 6A Division I state championship in 2020.
Lynch chose Indiana over Duke and Oklahoma State, the other two finalists for his services. he also had scholarship offers from Colorado State, East Carolina, Nevada, Southern Mississippi, Air Force, Texas Christian, Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, Illinois State and Pennsylvania.
Lynch is the 11th player to commit to Indiana in the Class of 2022 and the second offensive lineman, joining Carter Smith of Ohio. Indiana’s class is currently rated No. 24 nationally and fifth in the Big Ten behind only Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Rutgers.
