Trayce Jackson-Davis won’t need directions for his next NBA workout.
IU’s all-time leading rebounder and shot blocker will participate in a pre-draft for the Indiana Pacers, the NBA franchise reported.
Jackson-Davis will take part in the Pacers’ sixth pre-draft workout in preparation for the 2023 NBA Draft on Monday, June 5 at the Ascension St. Vincent Center in downtown Indianapolis.
Joining Jackson-Davis in the workout group will be Emmanuel Akot (Western Kentucky), Tyree Appleby (Wake Forest), Chris Livingston (Kentucky), Terquavion Smith (NC State) and Azuolas Tubelis (Arizona).
Jackson-Davis significantly elevated his draft profile during his senior season at IU. He was the first Indiana consensus All-American since Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo in 2013. Jackson-Davis led the Hoosiers in scoring (20.9), rebounds (10.8), assists (4.0), and blocked shots (2.9) per game.
He was the first player in the last 25 seasons to average 20/10/4/2 in a season. Jackson-Davis had the highest single-season scoring average at Indiana since Eric Gordon (2008), the highest rebounding rate since Steve Downing (1972), and the highest block production since Dean Garrett (1988).
The Pacers have five draft picks in the 2023 draft — 7th, 26th, 29th, 32nd, and 55th.
Jackson-Davis has been projected to be chosen in the late first round or early second round in most mock drafts.
The Greenwood, Ind. product has previously worked out for Golden State, Portland and Sacramento.
The 2023 NBA Draft will be held on June 22 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
