Indiana will be more shorthanded than expected at guard in Columbus on Monday night.
In addition to guard Rob Phinisee being out with an injury, Trey Galloway (lower body injury) and Khristian Lander (reaggravation of sore leg) will be unavailable tonight against Ohio State according to an IU release. Galloway could be seen walking without a limp or any kind of boot in the pre-game.
Head coach Mike Woodson hinted Indiana might be without Lander during a Saturday media availability, and the Hoosiers have been without Phinisee since January.
The news about Galloway is new, however. The 6-foot-5 sophomore missed substantial time earlier in the season after suffering a wrist injury. He provided a major spark off the bench in the first meeting against OSU, a 67-51 IU win. Since then Galloway had worked his way into the starting five. He is averaging 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and .9 steals while shooting 48 percent from the field.
